See photos for condition details. Hardcover, thin maroon cloth boards with gilt text on spine. Exterior shows minor spotting and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight like book was rarely used. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. The foldout diagrams and maps are present and in excellent condition. Pages are mildly toned due to age and there are some smudge marks and foxing present, but this is mainly limited to the end pages and pastedowns. Text pages appear clean with no issues. The title page shows the date of 1938 but the copyright page shows 1939. This is because the report was written in 1938 and published in 1939, as per the printed letter opposite the copyright page.
