Two volumes, each in a different contemporary binding. Volume I in full Cambridge panelled calf, Volume II in French full speckled calf with gilt detailing to the spine; both complete with red gilt morocco spine labels. Generally smart, with some losses to the ends of the joints and the corners, the spine ends rubbed and bumped. The boards are occasionally a little scuffed and with the odd scratch. Neat ownership initials to front pastedown of volume I, endpapers marbled to volume II. Bindings are generally tight, pages with just the odd spot. An attractive, if mismatched, set.
