A likely classic, this literary work is a riveting tale of two Eurasian twin boys: Luck and Chance.
At eighteen, they embark on life's journey seeking wisdom and their true essence at the International School for Brainiacs Square (ISBS) in New Joy Sea, U.S.A., to be Magi – the wisest of Master Magicians.
Filled with thrilling psychological and intellectual adventures, this oeuvre is a puzzle box, permeated with riddles, myths, and deep philosophical questions, inviting the reader to delve into his or her own life’s issues.
This novel introduces the fascinating world in which the twins are entwined in each other’s fate and destiny, fraught with danger in search of their mysterious origin. It encapsulates much wisdom through the story’s many characters.
The brothers are raised in an orphanage in Manila under dubious circumstances, where they struggle to understand the mysterious disappearances of their parents.
Before leaving Pinas, the twins receive magical gifts which their parents bequeathed to them through their Uncle Antikweetee. He explains to the brothers that, for these magical gifts to work, the pair must embody the noble traits of Courage, Integrity, Understanding and Hope.
The twins’ flight from Pinas to their new life is almost aborted. The Witch of the Catacombs also known as Gul Diabolica wants them dead. She captured and almost killed them. But why now? Crazy love is the malady of her soul…
This first novel of a multi-book fantasy series draws the reader into an intricate web of suspense, intrigue, struggles, love and magic.
The gradual revelations and peeling away of secret layers within the bowels of ISBS draw the twins into the dark Past of the school. In time, they will be pulled into a larger looming conflict.
ISBS reflects a complex social structure, which traps the protagonists in a morass of danger, paralleling myriad issues plaguing our modern world. Tragic betrayals leading to unintended consequences and epic battles lurk behind the scenes.
Through Internet access, this saga novel interfaces with three hundred top hits / music video pieces, via twenty-five languages, appealing to diverse demographic groups.
This book reached Round Two of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Contest - in the Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror category.
