Luke: Part 1: A Study of Luke 1-8 (At His Feet Studies)

If you're a woman who feels like you don’t have time to study the Bible in a deep, meaningful way, but want to, this is the study for you. Watch Jesus up close as he begins to reveal to his disciples, the crowds, and us the astonishing upside-down kingdom of God. Luke: Part 1 is a combination of Chris’s ability to unpack Scripture in deep, practical ways and Hope’s ability to create questions that guide the reader and apply God’s Word. Designed to be completed in just twenty minutes, each study is nourishing, time efficient, and useful for individuals and groups. What other people are saying about Luke: Part 1:“Hope Blanton and Chris Gordon have once again provided the church with a rich yet accessible resource in this study on Luke’s Gospel. They have a gift for bringing the historical context to life, making the scenes we encounter in Luke come alive in new ways. Their obvious love of God’s Word is contagious, and you will not only delight in studying his Word; you will be better equipped for further study because they show us how to study. Ultimately, though, this is a study that will lead you to Jesus, let you encounter him afresh, and ask you to respond to his claims, his life, and his love.” Courtney DoctorCoordinator for women’s training and content, the Gospel Coalition, speaker, Bible teacher, and author of From Garden to Glory: A Bible Study on the Bible’s Story “Whether you’re a new believer, college student, young mom, seasoned mentor, or Bible study leader, I can not recommend the At His Feet Studies highly enough! At His Feet Studies make deep and intentional Bible study approachable for women in various seasons of their walk with the Lord. This study on Luke guides the reader through observation, interpretation, and application in a helpful and accessible way, even for a mama of young children, like me! I find myself walking away with fresh insight and practical truths to apply to my daily life.”Hunter Beless, host of Journeywomen Podcast “I hear from young moms all the time who believe that in-depth Bible study isn’t an option for them because they are in an intense season with limited time and mental energy. This study is a gift to those women. Chris and Hope offer a gift wrapped twenty-minute daily experience that will leave women not only with a deeper knowledge of the book of Luke but more enthralled with the person of Jesus and more aware of how he is at work in, through, and around them. This study raises the bar for women’s ministry tools by demonstrating that limited time and mental energy do not mean that we must bypass in-depth study to obtain the application points we crave. Chris and Hope offer a Christ-exalting resource that meets busy women where we are and allows us to see him as he is.”Abbey Wedgeworth, Gentle Leading“This study gives one time to pause, to be reminded, and to be made certain of what you can know to be true about the humanity and divinity of Jesus. Study Luke's account alone, or in a group, through the commentaries and questions written by Chris and Hope and know that the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”Betty McCracken, Bible teacher of forty years
