Luna Reyes and the Emperor of Light

Luna hates her life. She’s bullied at school and she has just moved to a cold new country where she has no friends. Most of all, though, Luna hates how ordinary her life is.

But when she opens a mysterious envelope that she finds in the basket of her bike, her life becomes anything but ordinary. She is transported to Iluvia, a world where people are purple, the curious green blobkin live amongst them, and the weather is kept in balance by a mystical emperor and empress. Except now, the emperor has disappeared, and the empress wants Luna to find him. She’ll have to travel all the way to the mysterious Mounts of Sorrow in the north of Iluvia with an unlikely set of allies, avoiding the deadly banshees along the way, in order to find the emperor and return home.

I was born in Southern Spain to a Spanish father and English mother. I'm currently based in Taiwan where I have been living for around 11 years. I have always found being exposed to different cultures is the best possible inspiration for writing.
I have always loved fantasy, and enjoy finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. Some of my favorite authors include Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, and Haruki Murakami.
In my spare time, I enjoy belting out karaoke, playing computer games, cooking and of course, daydreaming.
