With a Foreword by the first Apollo astronaut to drive it on the Moon, Dave Scott, and published to coincide with the 40th anniversary of mankind’s final drive on the Moon in December 2012. The book is part mechanical guide, illustrated with many of the technical drawings from the time, and part narrative-driven story of engineering ingenuity and human triumph. It draws on the rich NASA photographic archive and the complete transcripts of the crews' reaction to driving across the Moon, which the authors have an un-paralleled knowledge and experience of working with.

Dr. Christopher Riley is a broadcaster and filmmaker specializing in history and science documentaries. In 2004, he won the Sir Arthur Clarke award for the BBC1 blockbuster series Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets. His film In the Shadow of the Moon: The Story of the Apollo Astronauts, won the World Cinema Audience Award in 2007.

David Woods turned his boyhood fascination with Apollo into a lifelong passion. He combined his deep interest with an ability to explain complex technical subjects to the layperson, and has written extensively about Apollo and the technical challenges it presented. David curates the Apollo Flight Journal for NASA, detailing the moment-by-moment reality of flying to the Moon. He is the co-author of both the Haynes Lunar Rover and Gemini Manuals.

Phil Dolling is an award-winning executive producer who has worked for the BBC on many television programs, including Tomorrow's World, Space, Human Instinct, James May's 20th Century, and Earth: The Power of the Planet. He was also in charge of the coverage of the Total Eclipse in 1999. Phil has also written books and articles on the science and technology of the 20th century.
