Lycanthropes & Leeches

Lisa is an unworldly young woman who feels her life is unfulfilled and yearns to break free from her imminent responsibility of running the family restaurant. Her longing for freedom becomes a reality the night her mother's boyfriend tries to kill her. With a rift torn between herself and her mother, she is left with nowhere else to turn. Now she must flee from the city that has been her home for nearly twenty years.

Lisa finds herself caught in a world where supernatural beasts come alive to wage war in an age-old conflict. Werewolves and vampires lurk around every corner, and she is forced to come to terms with whom she is, and what she has become. Before she can fulfill her birthright, she must face an insidious clan of vampires, help heal the wounds of an ancient werewolf tribe, and destroy the man responsible for her mother's death.

Living a relatively nomadic lifestyle, R.A. Reutter has always found himself residing back on the New Jersey coastline where he was raised. He attributes the allure of the Garden State to its reputation as a breeding ground for the strange and bizarre. It was here he completed Lycanthropes & Leeches.
