A near fine copy of the presumed first edition of this Christie's Auction Catalogue for the original lyrics of Candle in the Wind with Bernie Taupin's revision of the lyrics to produce Goodbye England's Rose for Princess Diana's funeral. They were auctioned for Children's Hospital, Los Angeles. No Dust Jacket but Christie's wrap around white paper band with dark blue lettering intact and in excellent condition. Cover: dark blue cloth covered boards with blind embossed lettering to front and rear; very bright and clean; few, if any, visible signs of shelf wear. Internally: very clean and tightly bound; no markings inscriptions or book plates; overall in excellent condition. Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white. 36 pp. Also includes small newspaper cutting noting that Earl Spencer bought the lyrics.
