Beautifully illustrated with 19 Full-Page Hand-Cojloured Plates, most having 4 illustrations. Protected by tissue guards. Title continues: "together with original and select Papers & Reviews on the Principles and Practice of Cultivation. Edited by James Rennie, M.A. Proferssor of Zoology, King's College, London." Period Brown Half-Leather Binding with Marbled paper-covered boards and leather corners. 10" tall, 640g. 1/4 of the leather missing from bottom of spine. Boards rubbed, one leather corner missing from back. Split to leather down rigfht side of spine.and remains of old spine tape on leather. Front board attached by old clear tape. No inscriptions.
