MALGUDI SCHOOLDAYS: PUFFIN CLASSICS

This is a slightly abridged version of Narayan's celebrated novel 'Swami and Friends', and includes two other short stories featuring Swami. It is a brilliantly evocative and delightfully funny account of the growing-up years from one of the greatest English language writers of our time.

Rasipuram Krishnaswami Iyer Narayanaswami was one of India s best known writers, teachers, and reporters.

Some of his best loved works are Swami And Friends, The Financial Expert, The Man-Eater Of Malgudi, The Vendor Of Sweets, The Bachelor Of Arts, The Guide, The Dark Room, and Mr. Sampath.
