They are two of the most powerful and ancient therapies available--and when combined in an "alchemical marriage," they will increase your well-being beyond all expectation. So, take a breath to fill your body with the delicious fragrance of essential oils and begin the process of entering a deep meditative state. Techniques from the past combine with present-day knowledge as you unearth the scents, mantras, and rituals that will work for you, and how to unite them. Develop personalized blends with the help of descriptions of each oil--its medicinal properties, impact on the emotions, and use in ceremonies of all kinds. Delve into the different traditions and styles of meditation, and find concrete ways to overcome negative feelings or deal with frustrated hopes and wishes. Join in a group meditation for world peace (try frankincense for this loving observance) or experiment with rituals from different cultures. Working in harmony, this duet truly nourishes the spirit!
