Item description from seller

Printed broadside, 9 1/4 x 6 inches, employing several styles and sizes of type, the complete text enclosed within a black border. The service included several prayers by local pastors, Addresses by Charles Andrews, Justice of the Court of Appeals, and Rev. J. H. McCarty, Pastor of the First M. E. Church, and multi-verse lyrics for two hymns, "Our Nation's Grief" by R. McCarty and "Nearer, My God, to Thee."Four months into his presidential term, Garfield was shot at the Baltimore railroad station on July 2, lingering until the evening of September 18, when he succumbed to his would and questionable medical attention. Apparently not recorded on OCLC. Small neat tape repairs verso, else very good.
