Original staple-bound yellow wraps 22x28cm with an aerial view of Aramco's refinery at Ras Tanura to the front. 36pp including wraps, b/w maps and photos. Near fine. The main article describes Saudi Arabia's emergence as an oil economy, the implications, and challenges to the House of Saud (pp3-22). Also included is Muhammad Haykal's final editorial for Al Ahram newspaper that led to his dismissal. Recently incorporating "Pakistan Forum", this issue also includes the first in a series of articles, this one by Feroz Ahmed on how US aid is sustaining Pakistan's dependence on the US, keeping it under-developed.
