48 (in 46) of the 63 (in 59) Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit volumes (the New Park Street volumes are doubles). Smyth-sewn bindings in black cloth Bit of highlighting found in one volume, otherwise all volumes entirely clean and sharp. Some edgewear and occasional tears to DJ's, clean and bright otherwise; missing on one volume. Mixture of Banner of Truth and Pilgrim editions. Missing 1855/56, '61, '62, '72, '75, '92, '93, '06, '12-. The 'MTP' records the complete preaching ministry of C. H. Spurgeon, the Reformed Baptist regarded as one of the greatest orators in the history of preaching and a towering influence on modern Christianity in the English-speaking world. Sermons sermons were recorded by stenographers in person and then released weekly in 'Penny Pulpit' pamphlets. These weeklies were collected in annual volumes bound and sold by the publishing firm 'Passmore and Alabaster.' The annuals have been reprinted only twice--by the two publishers shown here--with a third currently in production by 'Pilgrim's Coffer' but not projected to be completed for many years. Complete sets have become quite scarce, and even a two-thirds clutch of them like this one is not often seen. We ship professionally in double-walled boxes. International shipping will likely be cost prohibitive. Seller Inventory # 505969
