t.p. adds 'With Additional Notes by an American Editor'. viii+279; internally exceptionally good for age being clean, tight & unmarked with no browning or gutter opening. Dark cloth covers with blind-stamped border lines are seriously sun-faded to spine region, otherwise clean but slightly surface rubbed in a few places, original colour seems to have been a dark purple, main problem however is that spine ends are both chipped across at text block level. , otherwise unworn bar routine slight corner rubbing. Scarce, especially in UK, where the UK editions are also extremely rare.
