About this Item
pp. xlvi, 378, xv. Royal 8vo. This volume originated from the library of The Hudson's Bay Record Society, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The only markings are the slight residue of a rectangular spine label, a neatly lettered 'vol. 8' on the spine (corresponding to this being volume VIII of the Hudson's Bay Company Series), and a faint small rectangular label remains on the ffep. The spine is a bit sunned, and the binding is slightly shaken. The board edges show slight rubbing and bumping; else this is a very clean internally, otherwise good plus to very good volume. The provenance clearly makes this a unique volume in this desirable series. This copy is No. 56 of a limited edition of 550, issued only to Members of the Society. Top edge gilt.
