Ex-library. A hardcover book bound in 3/4 golden-brown leather with black cloth boards. POOR CONDITION. Front cover is detached, and has been weakly reattached with archival tape. Edges scuffed, call number on spine, and convent stamp inside. Crossed-out owner's name at top of title page, dated 1807. Pages foxed throughout, but all pages securely attached. OFFERED AS-IS. Tracts by Irish Capuchin preacher Arthur O'Leary (1729-1802) who argued for reforms that led to Catholic Emancipation. This copy belonged to Archbishop John B. Purcell of Cincinnati (1800-1883), whose signature is on the title page. Seller Inventory # 184025
