Hardback, octavo (appx 7x10 inches) (26cm), VG+ in G+ dj (dj in new protective mylar). 58 b&w gravure illustrations (most appx 14 x 20 cm with cutlines/captions printed in the artist's hand). Plate 36 repeated 4 times at the rear with 2 captions (English and French): "Various states of the same engraving, together with the final plate cancelled." Index des Planches at the rear. Illustrated dj clean, nice front panel, has a few short edge tears + 4cm tear along spine up from the heel. Book has very light bumps to corners and ends + ffep very small, neat bookplate.
