Author Barbara has visited schools in over 25 states giving interactive presentations to teachers and students and encouraging children to read and write.

Barbara wanted to combine her interest in writing with her desire to make learning fun. This, and her experience with children, inspired her to write her first book, The M&M'S� Brand Counting Book, which has over a million copies in print. She has also written several other books, including More M&M's� Brand Math, The Cheerios Counting Book(Scholastic), and The Baseball Counting Book.She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and their two children.

Roger Glass lives in New England with his wife, Diane, and has been a freelance artist for many years. He enjoys observing wildlife as he roams the woods near his home with his dog friends, Smoky and Molly. He especially likes the American crow and sometimes, if you listen carefully, you can hear him through the trees imitating its call (caw-caw-caw).
