This book is intended for students, researchers and semiconductor professionals and aims to shorten the learning cycle required to start off successful Silicon Carbide (SiC) device simulation. It explains SiC device simulation using Silvaco ATLAS TCAD software to provide a comprehensive understanding of the process of wide bandgap SiC semiconductor device modeling. This book covers modeling techniques, simulation models and parameters, and source code for device simulations, with focus on non-isothermal transient simulations to predict and analyze heat dissipation and lattice temperature rise in a SiC power device under switching condition.
