Photos, 9 x 6, blue cloth, 228 pp with index, extremities a bit worn, hinges loose, eps toned, front eps unevenly toned from old newsp (not included), else a decent copy in edge-worn and spine chipped dust jacket. Second printing but WITH FULL PAGE INSCRIPTIONS FROM AUTHOR: "To Fred Schouman: To (sic) the Thunderbird wasn't born when I wrote this book -- If I buy a Thunderbird after this, it would be one hell of a plug for Ford -- Hope you like it." Inscription dated Sept 1954. Scarce signature from one of the most loved and feared automotive critics of his time.
