2nd edition. A Very Good+ copy in red cloth dust jacket and slipcase. 8vo., 90 pp. plus index., 25 tipped-in albumen photographs. Bound in publishers full Vellum with decorative gilt and red rules and Fleur de Lys. Vellum is very clean with only very minor soiling on rear cover caused by interior of dust jacket. Some minor foxing or glue residue on half title page and title page. Mounts of photographs are wavy around the photographs, which are in very good condition and well preserved. Interior is clean and unmarked. Laid in is a hand written poem. Wrapped in red cloth dust jacket which fits neatly into red cloth slip case. Both of these have protected this volume thru the years. Waviness around photos is the only obstacle to Near Fine condition rating. This small district includes many of Venice's most famous sights, including St Mark's Square, Saint Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, Harry's Bar, the Palazzo Dandolo, Palazzo D'Anna Viaro Martinengo Volpi di Misurata, San Moisč, the La Fenice theatre, the Palazzo Grassi and Palazzo Bellavite, and the churches of San Beneto, San Fantin, Santa Maria del Giglio, San Maurizio, San Moisč, Santo Stefano, San Salvador, San Zulian and San Samuele.
