Hardcover, bound in full black leather with gilt lettering and decoration; hinges are moderately worn, and bottom of spine has minor chipping; protected in custom stiff archival mylar. Inner hinges strengthened discreetly with archival tissue. All page edges gilted. Illustrated with a folded map. Previous owner's bookplate and presentation inscription on front flyleaf. Measures 5+3/4" in height, or 14.8cm. Henry Nelson Coleridge (1798-1843). Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
