Paper covers, as issued in 1884 and 1885. First thus. Part I: 40pp., some pages uncut, very clean hand-made paper with no inscription. Covers are spotted and a little grubby with slightly ragged yapp edges and a hinge tear to lower half. They have done their job, and the inner t.p. and contents are clean. Part II: 85pp., some pages uncut, internally very clean with no inscription but again with spotted and marked covers. Interestingly Part 1 has an curious and distinctive watermark on the paper covers consisting of a (female?) figure perched on one foot on a sphere, holding a curved, forked object above the head. No doubt identifiable. 20% price reduction applied.
