Item description from seller

xi+200; brown spotting to top and outer edges of textblock, only internal fault is short tear bottom p.1 now sealed with transparent tear-repair tape; blue cloth covers generally clean and bright, slight bump lower front edge, merest hint of spine end rubbing. Undated but Imprimatur dated 1st October 1938. Much discussion of Goddard etc. and focuses on the concepts of moral imbecility/defect, also discusses Tredgold, also legal aspects of the terms. An interesting contemporary take on the topic from a highly informed Catholic angle, citing several Catholic psychologists.
