Add to basket15 X 9.24" brochure that folds to about the size of a business envelope. One side has a map of the mount Adams area by P Stevenson, which shows the area from the Columbia River to mount Adams and from the Pinchot National Forest to the Yakima Indian Reservation complete with cartoon symbols that show what is in each area. The other side has two black and white captioned photos, one of mount Adams from Shadow Lake and the other of a native American picking huckleberries together with what is the front panel which is a stylized black and white image of a dancing native American. Additional title on the front panel is as follows: "West of the heat and cold, East of the fog and rain. This side also has a considerable amount of narrative giving the Mount Adams story. Just a very interesting period brochure. " Sunset Magazine, Holiday, National Geographic, Nature, Life and the Saturday Evening Post have all recommended this Washington wonderland lying between Bonneville and the Dalles dams on the Columbia River. Within this magic triangle are located the largest huckleberry feels in the world, a fabulous concentration of salmon and trout hatcheries, wonderful hunting, fishing and vagabonding -- everything to please the tourist who likes to "rough it". [from the narrative].
