BUD FISHER'S MUTT & JEFF ARE TWO OF THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTERS OF ALL TIME. This is not a statement we make lightly. M&J were the first widely successful daily newspaper strip (back around 1907). They were one of the most important comic book titles of the 1920s (in the Cupples and Leon series). They were prominently featured on the cover of the first modern format comic book FUNNIES ON PARADE. These are three key issues, beginning with the historic cover on #30. Most important to many, though, if that these comics are just plain funny to read!CONDITION is extremely nice overall. Naturally, there is some variation in grade from item to item.
