Our research failed to identify the subject of the grand burial pictured here. This well-preserved and hand-colored photograph shows a very well attended funeral for an unknown "Taylor". The reverse is inscribed "1937" and what may or may not say "Aunt May", along with the photographers professional stamp. This image has not been digitized elsewhere. Who would like to solve this intriguing historical puzzle?
