Machine Control

Set in the not-so-distant future, Machine Control is a haunting story about a man and his machine creation. Working together, they seek to change the world in a dramatic way with a new form of artificial intelligence. In this new world, the machines replace human workers, control all information, monitor everything about everyone, and ultimately become uncontrollable. The story explores whether humanity has any hope for a better tomorrow in a world controlled by machines.

Munir Karbani is an independent fiction writer based in Edmonton, Alberta. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Alberta. Munir is primarily interested in stories about society's changing relationship with technology over time.
