(New York, The Museum of Modern Art, 1994); Reprinted edition. 25,5x17 cm. Softcover pb. No pagination (c. 100 pp.). Illustrated, catalog, with 397 items, representing a variety of industrial and household objects, a pioneering selection of early industrial designs produced in the 1920's, when aesthetics of 'machine art' were rising. This epochmaking exhibition in the MoMA in 1934 represented a range of industrial designs that were becoming mainstrain utensils later on in the 20th century. The catalog shows industrial units, household and office equipment, kitchenware, house furnishing and accessories, laboratory glass and porcelain etc. The catalog was reproduced on occasion of the 60th anniversary of the exhibition, for the original catalog has become very scarce. All books are complete and in good condition, unless otherwise stated. We aim at an adequate description of the items. In most cases small defects (such as ex-library plate, owners entry) will be stated. More severe damages or annotations/underlinings will allways be stated. Shipping terms
International: We usually ship orders within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on parcels weighing up to 2000 grams/ 2 kgs. If a parcel is underweight or still fitting the mailbox, we may reduce shipping. In case a parcel is overweight, oversized or needs insurance, we may contact you for additional shipping costs. In some cases direct orders at PayPal will be charged 4,5% on total order amount. There are no extra charges for packing and handling.
Please note: In some cases shipping costs may be reduced if total weight is less than 1 kg. This is especially true for some destinations outside Europe (as Australia, New-Zealand a.o.), for which shipping costs have risen significantly since 2024
