Illustrated with nineteen leaves of colour plates.Both works undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the Liverpool John Moores University and University of Cambridge.Bookplate of Vereker Monteith Hamilton to the front paste down, with his ink initials to the recto to the front endpaper. Hamilton was a Scottish artist, known for his military and historical works. In a quarter cloth binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Bumping to the spine and extremities, resulting in some loss of paper to the extremities. Light rubbing to the boards and spine. Bookplate to the front paste down. Ink initials to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spotting. Some pages reinforced to the gutter. A few pencil scribbled to the reverse of plates. Tidemark and edgewear to the front wrap of 'Madame est Servie'. A little wear and spots to the front wrap of 'Madame est Servie'. Penultimate plate of 'Mes 28 Jours' is working loose but remains firm. Good. Seller Inventory # 777P29
