Jen Cooper is the author and illustrator of the nonfiction children's picture book How You Made Us A Family. She is the mother of six children and lives with her husband in Alabama, USA. She has read well over ten thousand children's picture books to her kids over the years and wishes she could find more books on a variety of topics that have come up in her kids' lives. So, she is writing these books not only to read to her own children but to share with your child as well. Jen has dyslexia and dyscalculia. It has been a long journey but writing and reading books is how she taught herself to read, write, spell and comprehend the mysterious, backward and wiggly written word.
