It Made Me Laugh

It Made Me Laugh is a collection of witty, sharply observed short stories that find humor in Life's ordinary moments. This collection captures the comedy hiding in plain sight. A teen chasing a Frisbee...people look like Cheerios...walking in a rainstorm...dates that goes so sideways they deserve warning labels -- these everyday mishaps turn into laugh-out-loud moments through Gary Rinker's comic lens. These tales turn Life's little embarrassments and accidents into perfectly timed punchlines that don't just amuse -- they recognize you. Because the truth is: Life's funniest moments usually aren't on purpose. They just happen...and the best thing you can do is laugh!

Gary Rinker's first book The Very Best Toy won the USA "Best Books 2011" Award in the "Children's Picture Book: Softcover Fiction" category. He has worked with the Hank the Cowdog series of books and audios at Maverick Books for forty years and created Hank's race and chase travel game Tornado and Hank's Card Game. He lives in Perryton, Texas with his wife Kim, and they have three kids Lisa, David, and Kevin.
