Madison K. Live, Life, Fun...New York Style

Follow eighteen-year-old college freshman and BLC beauty blogger Madison K. and her BFFs, Jade and Kia, as they continue their journey to find their places in New York City, all while living life, learning from their mistakes, and having fun. The second book in the Madison K. series picks up as the girls struggle to find success in the world of beauty, fashion and college. They search for their very first apartment as their personal and professional lives become more complicated. Madison is dealing with her new found celebrity at the up and coming multimedia concept store, BLC, Jade is trying to impress her fashion designer boss, Bryce Martin, and Kia wonders if she wants to pursue her dreams of becoming a lawyer as she watches her father’s legal career fall apart. All the while, the girls are dealing with old and new boyfriends and the changes in their own families. This inspiring story is perfect for any young girl or women aspiring to reach her goals, embrace her flaws, while always trying to be better.

Educated at Tyler School of Art and Yale Graduate School for Fine Arts, Nina Kaplan has created and ran many successful home design and fashion stores, the latest of which is BLC, a multimedia concept store in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The Madison K. series is inspired by Kaplan's more than twenty years of experience in the fashion and beauty industries and in raising her own twenty-year-old daughter, Madison. These experiences are universal to women and girls of all ages as every mother and daughter can relate in some way.
