Madness in Mumbai

Until forty, Monica Singh never put a foot out of line. A pampered Pali Hill socialite and the wife of a wealthy businessman, her world revolved around luxury, status, and comfort—everything except love. But when her husband abandons her for his “baby-popping, business-tripling” mistress, VP Sales Luckshmi, Monica’s perfectly polished life collapses overnight.

Left with nothing but her wits and her camera, Monica rediscovers her first love—photography—and plunges headfirst into a madcap journey across Mumbai. Between tarot card readings, an unlikely gangster romance, a kidnapping, a car chase, a murder plot, and a very surly policeman, Monica’s quest for independence spirals into chaos, comedy, and self-discovery.

Equal parts hilarious, steamy, and suspenseful, Madness in Mumbai is a whip-smart adventure of reinvention and resilience—proof that sometimes you have to lose everything to find yourself in the city that never stops moving.
