The Magic Chest: Where You Are, Where You've Been, Where You're Going

A study of theatre craft will always have the impact of self-discovery on an individual. It is easy to understand its impact in psychology because we are all actors, and the world is our stage. My own journey to drama therapy came first through acting, then directing, teaching and counseling. The Magic Chest is a journey of self-discovery. It contains some tools used in theatre and enables the reader to explore certain key energies, emotions, and attitudes that universally affect people's lives. The framework also provides the structure necessary for a therapist or actor to branch off and explore other specialized energies as needed. The book can serve as a manual. The exercises presented here will enable participants to understand where they are now as well as where their personal journeys must lead.
