The Magic Forest Alphabet: Introducing Letter Sounds

The Magic Forest happily invites you to enjoy Introduction to Letter Sounds. A strong foundation in phonics has been proven to support children in learning to read, and this book is designed to assist phonics instruction, at home or in school, by teaching children to correctly associate individual letters with the sounds they make.

Isolating and identifying each individual letter in a word is the beginning. Once your child can correctly associate a sound with each letter of the alphabet, encouraging them to decode a word is the next step to reading.

The Magic Forest is a fun way to introduce these sounds and practice a newly learned skill.

Let's start at the beginning and move forward together!

"I really like how the author has taken the time to explain how to correctly use the book to help children learn the correct letter/sound relationships. As a teacher I can't tell you how many times children show up to school having learned the incorrect sounds, and that leads to all sorts of problems in reading. I bought a copy for my classroom and the children love it (and if you happen to claim Irish heritage, there's a nice little surprise in there for you too)." "Not only are the illustrations colorful and absolutely adorable, but the format for this book is exactly what little ones need when learning that the ABCs are more than a song. The Magic Forest Alphabet reinforces the idea that letters make sounds and sounds make words. Love it! And my kids love it too! We can't wait for more in this series!" "Simple and easy way to teach letter sounds with lovely and adorable illustrations. Great for reviewing and reinforcing lessons with my kindergartener and for letter sound introduction for my toddler. And the kids really enjoyed it!"
