Magic at Midnight: The Hidden Secrets of Animals After Dark

Lauren Michels is a children's book author from Long Island, NY, where she was born and raised. She has dreamed of writing a children's book since becoming a mom 11 years ago. From that moment on, she knew she wanted to create stories that would capture the imagination and connection found in those early years of childhood. After years of holding onto that dream while raising a family, earning a degree in business management, and spending the past six years as a dedicated homeschooling mom, Lauren is proud to see that dream come to life. Her debut book, Magic at Midnight, was inspired by her son and their nightly routine, transforming those cherished moments into a story filled with wonder and imagination. Lauren's writing encourages children to believe in the extraordinary, embrace their imagination, and hold onto the magic that often fades with adulthood. She hopes her stories inspire families to create meaningful moments together and keep the spirit of childhood alive. When she is not writing, Lauren enjoys creating memories with her family, traveling, interior design and supporting all her families' dreams.
