The Magic Order Library Edition Volume 2 (Hardback or Cased Book)

This beautiful hardcover graphic novel concludes the smash-hit dark fantasy thriller comics series, and features the stunning artwork of Gigi Cavenago, Dike Ruan and Matteo Buffagni.

There's a reason you've never seen a ghost…it’s called The Magic Order. Five families of wizards from all around the world, living among us as teachers and paramedics, cab drivers and checkout assistants. By day they hold down regular jobs. By night they secretly protect us from what’s lurking under our beds.

They’ve guarded mankind for a thousand years, but one by one they’ve been picked off by their enemies since Cordelia Moonstone used black magic and now, she’s the last wizard standing as they make their final push.

Superstar writer Mark Millar teams up with phenomenal artists Gigi Cavenago, Dike Ruan, and Matteo Buffagni to bring the final three volumes of the exciting adult fantasy story about five families of wizards across the world—America, Europe, Asia, UK, and Africa, who look after and protect us from the creatures lurking in the dark.

Soon to be a major Netflix live action project.

For mature audiences.

Mark Millar is a NEW YORK TIMES best-selling author, Hollywood producer, and now president of his own division at Netflix after selling his publishing company to the world’s biggest streamer in 2017. He also signed on to exclusively create new comics, TV series, and movies in-house as a senior executive.

Adaptations of JUPITER’S LEGACY, SUPERCROOKS (in the form of a Japanese anime), and AMERICAN JESUS (adapted as THE CHOSEN ONE) have already been released. THE MAGIC ORDER, REBORN, SHARKEY THE BOUNTY HUNTER, PRODIGY, KING OF SPIES, EMPRESS, MPH, HUCK, and a live-action SUPERCROOKS are being put together now.

Previously, Mark worked at Marvel Comics, where he created THE ULTIMATES, which was selected by TIME magazine as the comic book of the decade and described by screenwriter Zak Penn as his major inspiration for the movie THE AVENGERS. Millar also created WOLVERINE: OLD MAN LOGAN and Marvel’s CIVIL WAR. CIVIL WAR was the basis of the third Captain America movie, and OLD MAN LOGAN was the inspiration for 20th Century Fox’s LOGAN.

CIVIL WAR remains Marvel’s biggest-selling graphic novel of all time, and his seminal SUPERMAN: RED SON is the highest-selling Superman graphic novel in history. In 2020, RED SON was also released as an animated feature.

Mark has been an executive producer on all adaptations of his books and worked as a creative consultant to 20th Century Fox on their Marvel slate of movies.
