Each day I take our husky Louie for a walk on the path to ponds edge, when we return home I write about what I have seen. These poems are filled with many characters from owls to dragonflies and even deer. We have encountered darkness, fog, rain, wind, heat, humidity and sub-zero cold, the one constant in all of our adventures together is life. Ah Life, large as the universe small as an ant, filled with texture, light, shadows, sound, humor and dreams. About the Author

L.C. Strand has been writing for over forty years, his inspiration comes from the incredible beauty, humor and intrinsic wonder that exists in our everyday lives. He has been fortunate enough to have lived twelve years with cancer and knows how important it is to treat each and every day as if it were his last.
