On the Magical Arts (Paperback)

Paperback. This work by Rabanus the Moor emphasizes the prohibitions against magic, divination, and superstitions as dictated by divine law in the scriptures. It cites various passages from the Old Testament, particularly from Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy, which denounce practices such as witchcraft and consulting the dead. The text further highlights the importance of listening to the true prophet sent by God, culminating in the recognition of Jesus as the ultimate prophet who embodies truth and salvation. It concludes by affirming that all wisdom and healing come from God alone, underscoring the futility of seeking knowledge from other sources. This item is printed on demand.
