My Magical Foods - Get Picky Eaters to Choose Veggies and Fruits!

Would your little one eat grilled cheese for every meal? Does the thought of broccoli cause fear? Have you noticed your kid lives on white foods? Yikes!

If this sounds familiar, you have a picky eater — and you're not alone. Picky eating is incredibly common in the preschool years. It's frustrating when you know your child needs more fruits and veggies to build healthy habits and get the vitamins and minerals their growing body needs.

That's why My Magical Foods is the perfect rhyming picture book to inspire kids ages 2-8 to eat more fruits and vegetables — one colorful, fun-to-read page at a time.

My Magical Foods teaches children how fruits and vegetables come naturally from the earth, making them some of the best food on the planet:

The love of summer's warm sunlight
shines upon the plants so bright.
Now baby plants begin to grow,
anchored down to earth below.

It also shows strong animals that eat plant-based — like the gorilla and giraffe:

Here comes a gorilla, strong and bold.
He eats his greens and fruits, we're told.
Then elephant, so brave and big.
She'll snack on fruit, or trees or twigs!

And it shares playful ideas that motivate kids to pick healthy snacks and meals:

Mash avocado, she won't care.
Dip or spread her anywhere.
The spinach wants to join on in.
With mango in a smoothie spin.

Why parents and teachers love this book:

✓ Builds real healthy eating habits — not pressure, but curiosity and excitement
✓ Makes mealtime conversations easier — "Maybe Mom is right about broccoli?"
✓ Bonus healthy snacks checklist included — encourages great choices beyond the book
