THIS BOOK IS UNIQUE - IT IS NO 500 FROM A LIMITED EDITION OF 500 AND IS ALSO SIGNED BY THE PUBLISHER. The Magus, or Celestial Intelligencer; Being A Complete System Of Occult Philosophy ~ by Francis Barrett, published by Vance Harvey Publishing in 1970; this is a facsimile reprint from my original copy that I did shortly after setting up my secondhand bookshop. This edition was limited to 500 copies and this is no 500, the last copy also this copy is signed by me as the publisher, so is quite unique. Bound in a brown cloth with a black title label on the spine and with silk headbands; illustrations include 4 tipped-in pages of coloured illustration of Fallen Angels and many b&w illustrations throughout the book including gatefolds; printed on cream antique paper, 4to format - 8 ½ x 11 ¼ , 438pp; there is just a minute bit of wear at the 2 bottom corners of the spine otherwise in virtual mint condition.
