Leadership is not defined by titles.
It is defined by the standards you set, the decisions you make, and the moments that test who you are as a leader.

In Maintain or Transform, Carlos E. Gutierrez Ferrete reflects on the defining leadership moments that shape careers, organizations, and teams. Drawing from more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale operations and complex supply chain networks, he provides practical insights on maintaining high standards, building strong teams, and leading through complexity and change.

From starting over in a new country to serving as Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Supply Chain Officer, his leadership journey has been shaped by disciplined decision-making, accountability, and the responsibility of building teams that perform.

Inside the book, you will learn how to:

• Maintain leadership standards under pressure
• Build strong, accountable teams
• Lead through uncertainty with clarity and discipline
• Recognize career-defining leadership moments
• Balance discipline, execution, and transformation

Through real experiences and leadership reflections, Maintain or Transform challenges leaders to examine their standards, own their decisions, and lead with discipline when it matters most.
