The first is the influence of the behavioralist approach, which emphasizes studying institutions and laws, and the second is the use of quantitative measurements for predicting outcomes. The author traces these ideologies' origins and discusses how they have impacted the teaching and learning of political science, particularly in the United States. The author also provides historical examples and case studies to illustrate how these two approaches have informed our current understanding of the political landscape. This book will appeal to anyone interested in political science, education, or the intersection of the two disciplines. It offers a comprehensive and insightful look at how political science has evolved over time and provides valuable insights into the field's trajectory.
