Robinson was commissioned in 1930 to produce a set of six illustrations for Asbestos Cement Building Products Ltd, a distributor for, among others, Turners Asbestos Cement. The resulting promotional book, finely printed by photogravure on heavy, deckle-edged paper and tied in embossed card covers with a silk ribbon , portrayed the various processes of manufacture in his own inimitable way. A great look at 'commercial art' /// This is a 1st edition paperback given with a large envelope in good condition-the cover & text is lightly 'foxed' throughout & the back cover is slightly 'stained'.
