The Making and Breaking of a SubPostmaster

Just a few days away from official publication now, so I wanted to give you an exclusive look at what you're about to step into.

When Pete Murray and his wife bought their second Post Office branch in Wallasey, they thought they were stepping into a secure future. Instead, they walked straight into a living nightmare.

The Making & Breaking of a SubPostmaster is not a dry recount of legal proceedings-it is a fast-paced, deeply personal memoir that feels like living through a real-life thriller. From being a personal tour guide in Vietnam to getting struck down with hypothermia in Laos, Pete's life before the Post Office was full of surprises. But nothing could have prepared them for the claustrophobic panic and escalating fight for the truth when the flaws of the notorious Horizon IT system began to unravel their lives.

Facing systemic obstacles from the very institution trusted to support them, Pete's story exposes the human cost behind one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British corporate history.

As the cover says, Pete Murray is just one story-but he was never the only one. Raw, honest, and gripping, this is the story of surviving the fight for justice when the odds are stacked against you.
