A footnote on page vii reads "Editor's note: The illustrations cold not be reproduced in this edition because of the poor quality of the films received from the India Office Library." This edition with a new 6 page Introduction by Sir Oliver Forster, dated 1998. Series: "Oxford in Asia Historical Reprints". Also with a 2 page series Preface by Farooq Bajwa, dated 1997.
