Agrippa I: Fugitive, Prince, and the Shadows of Rome

Step into the complex world of Herod Agrippa I, where history, politics, and mystery converge. This book meticulously reconstructs the historical context, tracing Agrippa's journey from his early ties with the Julio-Claudian dynasty to his rise within the Herodian lineage, culminating in his assassination-a true crime mystery woven into the fabric of Roman history.

Beyond political intrigue, this book explores key archaeological sites, including Tel Malhata, a Roman limes fortress strategically positioned on the Frankincense Trail. Newly examined site reports and spatial analysis reveal the role of this fortress as a refuge for Agrippa I, shedding light on his fugitive status and the military presence that shaped the region.
