Jim Heafner PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS Jim earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University and is an expert in manual and manipulative physical therapy, as well as pain management and exercise prescription. He is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is trained in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional Movement Screening (FMS) systems, and is certified in Dry Needling. In 2016, he opened a clinic called Heafner Health Physical Therapy in Boulder, Co. When not treating patients, he educates fellow physical therapists through speaking engagements and writing. He has authored several books including The Guide to Efficient Physical Therapy Examination and The Yoga Fix and is co-creator of The Student Physical Therapist website. Jarod Hall PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS Jarod is a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Fort Worth, TX, whose clinical focus is orthopedics with an emphasis on pain neuroscience education, specifically the management of chronic pain and athletic injuries using progressive exercise techniques. He is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Jarod has developed and leads a preparatory course for physical therapists through OPTIM Manual Therapy Fellowship, as well as a virtual mentorship with Modern Pain Care. He is devoted to learning and teaching about the human experience of pain and frequently guest lectures for PT doctoral education programs and provides continuing education at the state, national, and international levels.
